Engineering Solutions to Acoustic Problems
Joe Hanna joined Noise Control Engineering, Inc. (NCE) in August of 2011. Since joining NCE, Joe has been involved in numerous noise and vibration surveys in the marine industry. He has conducted field measurements abroad LPD 22, FRC-B, USACE Dredge Essayons and JHSV. In addition to his field work, Joe has also performed noise and vibration predictions, 6 degree of freedom calculations and data analysis. Prior to his work at NCE Joe received a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. During his time at URI he studied the design and application of ocean instrumentation including single and multi-beam traducer arrays, flow meters, and sound velocity probes. He is a member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineers (INCE) and the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME).
