 Mr. Dempsey is an engineer who joined
Noise Control Engineering, Inc. in 2004. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology. He has specialized in finite element analysis (FEA) at NCE. His FEA
experience includes full ship models of the Martha's Vineyard Ferry and a SWATH vessel, as well as
gas turbine intake/exhaust models and various machinery foundation models. Ron has also completed a
number of statistical energy analysis (SEA) models including a Seattle Fireboat and USACE Towboats.
Along with his modeling experience, Mr. Dempsey has been involved with an extensive number of field
surveys including sea trials and factory acceptance testing.
